Mitchell Fontaine

Mitchell Fontaine, 36, of Lafayette, died October 15, 2024. Mitchell was born January 19, 1988, the son of Robert John Berges and Katherine Marie Zerby.

 Mitchell was a welder for more than 10 years. He played football as a teenager at West Central and was an avid Greenbay Packers fan. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and working on car audio. He will be remembered as a silly and kind soul leaving all who were around him laughing from his goofy antics.

 He is survived by mother, Katherine Zerby, children, Aryonnah and Elyjah Fontaine, siblings, Aaron Fontaine, Karessa Chancy and Stephen Zerby, grandmother, Karen Zerby as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 A celebration of life will be announced once established.
