Mark Hector

Mark Hector, 54, of Waveland, IN passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville. He was born the son of Nicholas & Elizabeth (Murrin) Hector, Oct 11, 1970 in Newark, NJ. He married Mia (Post) June 12, 1999 in Toms River, NJ. He worked at Hood construction, Whitesville Mill Services and Hayworth Ent. Here in Indiana. Mark loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and canoeing. He also had a coin collection that he started for his children. Mark is survived by his wife, Mia, children, Stephen, Matthew and Stacie Hector, all of Waveland, father, Nick Hector of NJ, brothers, Nick (Elianet) Hector of TX and Bill (Julie) Hector of NJ, uncle, Dennis & Aunt, Nancy Murrin of NJ, Aunt, Michelle (Bacilio) Egoavil of NJ, uncle, Marty of TX, aunt, Lia Guaschino of NC, mother-in-law, Denise Ritchings of IN, sisters-in-law, Tami (Joseph) Wilson of IN and Alice Post of PA, brother-in-law, Gary (Amy) Post of FL, Bill Holschuh “dad” of NJ, cousins, 12 nieces, 12 nephews, 4 great- nieces and 3 great-nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth, sister, Christine, nephews, Andrew Hector and Joseph Wilson III and cousin, Bacilio Egoavil.

Celebration of life will be April 19th 12pm to 5pm at 7298 W 1000 S Waveland. Please join us for food, drinks and lanterns we will light from the farm to send off.
