Candy was an Indiana native for 44 years before moving to Florida with her husband Jeremy. After being in Florida for only 6 months she was diagnosed with a rare type SMARCA4 Deficient Undifferentiated Cancer. They came back from Florida to be close with family and seek treatment. Candy's cancer progresses quickly, she fought very hard she even did trial treatments but the cancer overcame her. She was loved by everyone. Candy passed away at her parents home with loved ones by her side
She is survived by her husband Jeremy Winchester of 13 years, her parents Tim and Roxanne (Mitchell) Lyman, brother Tony Misner and family, daughter Taylor (Blankenship) Barron and her wife Emma Barron, son Tye Blankenship and his wife Heather and son Zach, stepdaughter Elizabeth Winchester and godson Gageaki.
